Here's Maddy at the community pool in the late afternoon. I especially love the shadow! This photo is actually from last summer but when I thought about this month's theme, I couldn't remember a summer photo I've ever loved more. Down the road, if we do a {shadow} theme, there's a good chance I'll post another version of this photo again. :)

What a great shot!!! I love the shadow, too. You always do such great embellishments!
Thanks, Michelle. I have a hard time posting a photo without dressing it up a bit first!
If we ever have a "shadow" theme, I might be reposting this ;)

Just beautiful Donna. I just love the "dressing up" - especially the softness of the swirls and flowers with the texture of the background.
Really nice!

The shadow is really cool and adds such depth to the picture. As always, you are an awesome photographer. But I have to admit, I kind of like the little details, like the wet hair, the tattoo on her arm, and, if I'm not mistaken, the little bruise just below her shin...all telltale signs of summer.
Donna,
I really, really like this picture. I love the shadow. I love the tatoo on her arm. I love the texture on the wall.
I bet this picture would also look amazing in a high-contrast black and white.

You always make a picture really stand out...a beautiful model helps too : ) Love that shadow!!
Beautiful. I love the wall texture and color. It is the perfect backdrop for Maddy to shine.
